XXXCongratulations to the winners at our May Lake Leon tournament held on May 5th and 6th. Breezy and warm weather greeted anglers this passed weekend.
XXX Two five fish limits were weighed in and there were only a few zeros. There were a total of 58 fish weighed in this month.
XXXJimmy Thurman took first place with 5 fish Sunday that weighed 12.01 lbs. Second place went to Rick Schmidt with 5 fish Saturday weighing 10.11 lbs. Third place went to Jerry Land with 4 fish Saturday weighing 5.76 lbs. Andrew Tredemeyer captured fourth place with 2 fish Saturday weighing 5.65 lbs. Andrew also had big bass for 4.16 lbs.

XXXAndrew Tredemeyer and Ross Blumrich won the Team Jackpot with 11.13 lbs. The winners of the Blind Draw Jackpot were Ross Blumrich and Jimmy Thurman with 17.49 lbs.

June Tournament
Lake Brownwood

XXXThe June club tournament has been voted to be on Lake Brownwood. The dates are June 9th and 10th. Weigh-in will be at the dam boat ramp. Fishing time is set for 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Upcoming Events

XXXThe 6th annual Fish Day In The Park will be held on May 19th. Help is asked to arrive between 6:30 and 7:00am. We will have the bass tub there and members are asked to help set up the tub at 6:00pm Friday the 18th.
XXX There will be a tub set up at Jerry Lands' house by the 12th for anyone able to donate fish for the bass tub.
XXXThere will be a fish fry Monday May 28th at the bingo hall. Help is asked to arrive at 4:30pm to begin to setup.
XXXWe will also be holding a fish fry for the Community Nursing Home some time in June. A date will be decided on at our June meeting.
