XXXCongratulations to the winners at our January Lake Granbury tournament held on January 5th and 6th. Water temperatures were low and the fishing was tough for many of the anglers this month.
XXXRobbie Wooten finished in first place with 4 fish Saturday that weighed 12.09 lbs. Robbie also had big bass for the tournament weighing 4.17lbs. Second place went to Rusty Roberson with 2 fish Saturday weighing 5.43 lbs. Third place went to Monte Durant with 1 fish weighing 4.07 lbs. Ross Blumrich captured fourth place with 1 fish weighing 3.30 lbs.
XXXRobbie Wooten and Ira Wooten won the Team Jackpot with 4 fish weighing 12.09 lbs.
XXXThe winners of the Blind Draw Jackpot went to Robbie Wooten and Ross Blumrich with a combined weight of 15.39 lbs.

XXXThere were no fish weighed in for both the Ladies and Youth Divisions this tournament.

February Tournament Lake Brownwood

XXXThe February club tournament has been voted to be on Lake Brownwood. The dates are February 9th and 10th. Weigh-in will be at the dam boat ramp. Fishing time is set for 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Time to Pay Dues

XXXJust a reminder to everyone, if your dues are not paid this may be your last newsletter for the year. The January letter was sent to the 2007 paid members. Starting in February letters will be sent only to those who have paid their 2008 dues. To continue receiving your letter you need to get your dues in.

Annual Awards Banquet

XXXThe Stephenville Bass Clubs Annual Awards Banquet will be held Saturday January 19th. The event will begin around 7:00 PM. Anyone wanting to help with the preparations is welcome to attend, beginning at 10:00 AM Saturday morning. The ladies are asked to bring a desert for the banquet.
At the banquet there will be plenty of food, fun and drawings for prizes. All SBC members, families, and guest are welcome.
