XXXCold temperatures and strong north winds made for tough fishing to start off the 2009 season.
XXX Congratulations to the winners at our January Lake Proctor tournament held on January 10^th and 11^th.  Water temperatures were low and the fishing was tough for many of the anglers this month.
XXXJerry Land finished in first place with 1 fish Sunday that weighed 5.52 lbs.  Jerry also had big bass for the tournament.  Second place went to Barry Merrill with 2 fish Sunday weighing 4.43 lbs.  Third place went to Jimmy Thurman with 1 fish weighing 3.99 lbs.  David Robinson captured fourth place with 1 fish weighing 3.81 lbs.
XXXRick Schmidt and Jerry Land won the Team Jackpot with 1 fish weighing 5.52 lbs.  The winners of the Blind Draw Jackpot went to Jerry Land and Allan Morgan with a combined weight of 5.52lbs.

XXXThere was no fish weighed in for the Ladies and Youth Divisions this tournament.  

February Tournament
Lake Brownwood 

XXXThe February club tournament has been voted to be on Lake Brownwood.  The dates are February 7^th and 8^th.  Weigh-in will be at the dam boat ramp.  Fishing time is set for 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Annual Awards Banquet 

XXXThe Stephenville Bass Clubs Annual Awards Banquet was held Saturday January 17^th.  The event was enjoyed by all. 

Constitution amendment 

 XXXAt the last  meeting the Stephenville bass Club constitution was amended to include the new office of Director of bingo charitable organizations. Jerry Land was elected to serve at that position.
