XXXThe
weather for the Lake Leon tournament was hot, temperatures were in the
upper 90's. Saturday there was wind approimately 15 mph which made it
more tolarable. However Sunday was a different story. Light to no wind
made it difficult to get comfortable.
XXXFifteen
members, one guest, two youth and three ladies fished the event. On
Saturday 30 fish were weighed with an average weight 2.00 pounds. Sunday
13 fish were weighed with an average weight of 2.32 pounds.

The winners were, first Jimmy Thurman with 5 fish that weighed 14.57
lbs. Second place was Robbie Wooten with 4 fish weighing 9.06
lbs. Third place was Dianne Fritz with 2 fish weighing 6.75 lbs.
and fourth place was Jamie Gaunt with 3 fish weighing 6.12 lbs.
XXXRobbie
and Ira Wooten won the Team Jackpot with 5 fish weighing 10.06 lbs.
The winners of the Blind Draw Jackpot were Jimmy
Thurman and Jamie
Gaunt with 8 fish with a combined weight
of 20.69 lbs.
XXXLevi
Dowell won the Youth Division with 1 fish weighing 4.88 pounds. This
was also the Big Bass of the tournament.
XXXDianne
Fritz won the Ladies Division with 2 fish weighing 6.75 pounds.

Hubbard
Creek
in July
XXXThe
July club tournament has been voted to be on Hubbard Creek Reservoir.
The dates are July 10th and 11th. Weigh-in
will be at the Mile Long bridge boat ramp parking lot. The ramp
is located on the west side of the birdge off highway 180. Fishing time
is set for 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Length
limits are: Largemouth Bass = 5 fish with 14 1/4" length limit,
Spotted bass = no length limit.
